Multi‐plates are key structures for shorter‐span crossings where a bridge is unfeasible. Multi‐plate structures are also great for heavy‐load designs where the weight of crossing vehicles can be immense, such as mining haul trucks, and their site‐specific engineering and ease of transport make them highly advantageous in many areas. Newport Structures has built a strong working relationship with the suppliers of multi‐plate structures and employs a specialized multi‐plate construction team with highly experienced crane operators and fabrication crews. We have successfully constructed creek crossings, haul roads, and even animal overpasses across BC and Alberta.
